Hi, I’m Dr. Jodi!
I opened Finding Me PLLC out of desire to create safe spaces where people can heal. Safety is a crucial need. Yet, as a Black woman, it has often felt like a moving target- something I persistently seek but do not always find in the spaces I occupy. I have experienced first-hand the harm of not only overt experiences of trauma, but the cumulative effects of daily micoraggressions and messages that communicate I am not enough. Throughout my own wellness journey, I have gained the tools to fight back and find me. Once lost amidst painful experiences and the endless perceptions of others, I now know who I am, what I want, and choose to live life with purpose. I choose healing, I choose restoration, I choose empowerment, and I choose me. Are you ready to choose you?
